Callie completed her undergraduate degree in Dietetics at the University of Georgia and is currently earning her Master’s degree in clinical nutrition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to coming to Crescent Grace, she completed multiple rotations as an intern at various eating disorder facilities. Callie is a true believer in intuitive eating and food freedom as a way of life and enthusiastic in sharing this hope for clients in their healing journey.
In addition to her commitment to helping clients better their relationship with food, Callie also has her 500-hour registered yoga teacher certificate and is a certified personal trainer as well, allowing Callie the unique opportunity to work with clients from the perspective of overall body integration, and restoring body acceptance beyond food.
With an “others first” approach, Callie knows that sometimes listening to a client’s story with the purpose to understand is one of the most important parts of their treatment experience. Bringing a positive, compassionate attitude, she, demonstrates a strong commitment to motivate and challenge clients to be their best selves outside the eating disorder identity, even when it means stepping outside of their comfort zone.
Callie is definitely our resident Social Butterfly. As a lover of people, Callie’s idea of a perfect Saturday is spending the whole day outside taking a walk, visiting the local Farmer’s Market, hanging with friends by the nearest body of water while keeping up with the local college sport, ending the day with dog walks and probably some sushi with a friend.
Growth often occurs when we are pushed out of our comfort zone.
Crescent Grace is staffed with compassionate professionals who will guide your journey to full recovery every step of the way.
