Jenny Joseph Williamson

I Think It’s Lovely

Jenny Joseph Williamson has been a yoga instructor and NSCA certified personal trainer for over 20 years, during which time she worked for Health magazine and became a top trainer at Equinox, one of the country’s best and largest gyms. She has additional certifications in kettlebells, Pilates, TRX, VIPR, meditation/mindfulness, and CPR/AED.

The owner of Jenny Williams Fitness, she has significant experience working with all ages and abilities, helping with injuries and rehabilitation. She also is well versed training clients growing through recovery, living with mental illness, and those who struggle with maintaining a healthy relationship to exercise. Whether running, playing volleyball, racing in a triathlon, or having a good round of tennis, Jenny believes spending as much time outside as possible can change your life.

She found her love for helping others heal through movement in New York City where she lived and trained for 10 years. Jenny provides in-person and virtual sessions for clients all over the country. She brings her talents to many community venues including working as the Wellness Coach for Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham. Her goal is to provide workouts and fitness training that helps people feel energized, successful and in the moment.

Jenny strives to be a reliable source for those seeking support and guidance and views her role in their health and wellness experience as a top priority. Because of this strong belief she works directly with other providers and professionals in the community to elevate the quality of training her clients receive, leaving behind anything that doesn’t allow healing and joy.

Proud to have fully recovered and live a life of freedom, she brings to Crescent Grace an invigorating energy and a deep empathy for clients because she also struggled with multiple eating disorders for several years. “I know from personal experience what it is like to try and build a healthy relationship with exercise while struggling with this disease,” Jenny says.

Jenny is kind, patient and adaptable. She is able to work with anyone and anywhere and adapts to meet their needs based on how they are feeling at the moment. She is a lifelong learner and is always looking to grow and learn from each client she works with and holds gratitude for all that they teach her.

Fun fact – Jenny once ran the New York City Marathon as a guide to a 73-year-old blind man. Jenny was tethered to him the entire 26.2 miles. Her idea of a perfect Saturday is waking up with the sun, spending some time moving whether it be a hike, a light jog or light weights. Meeting friends for a late brunch and spending time outside with her amazing daughter or cuddling up on the couch watching TV or reading a good book with her cat.

Crescent Grace is staffed with compassionate professionals who will guide your journey to full recovery every step of the way.
