Life Is Lickable

Lake, Gatsby’s cousin, is our second wonderful Border Collie dog. Lake follows Gatsby about, learning all things Crescent Grace – making the rounds, meeting both staff and clients with her sweet disposition and affectionate kisses, checking for hidden or dropped food in the dining room, aka looking for snacks, and always finding ways to annoy Gatsby.

She is patient with every encounter. Gentle, quiet, empathic, and  forgiving. Never was a dog so patient with the chaos of life than Lake. Don’t be fooled though. This little girl is full of mischief, and when it comes down to it, Lake makes no apologies and does all things Lake with a smidge of sass and a whole lotta grace.

Lake may be small in size but she is mighty in heart and gives big, big love to those in need. She will find a way to make you smile in the moments that feel impossible and bring a joy that illuminates the dark places.

Our beloved Gatsby Grace made it hard to imagine that more love was possible from these furry souls we are so blessed to have, but Lake reminds us there is always, always room for more love.
